A car on fire has caused part of the A78 to close.
Traffic on the southbound carriageway has been restricted after the New House Interchange following the incident around 2.30pm this afternoon.
Fortunately, nobody was injured as a reult of the fire.
A Police Scotland Spokesperson said: "We were made aware of a car on fire on the A78 near the Meadowhead Roundabout around 2.35pm.
"The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service attended to extinguish the fire and no one was injured.
"The vehicle has been recovered."
