THOMPSON The family of John Thompson are sad to announce the death of John (previously of Stevenston) in Ontario, Canada, on Sunday 1st November following a brief and sudden illness. A much loved brother of Jean McCubbin, and dear uncle of Moira, Elizabeth and Susan. John leaves behind his deeply loved wife Mary (nee Copland), children Andrew, Elaine and Ian, grandchildren Andrew, Elaine and Ian, grandchildren Jacquie, John, Stuart, William and great granddaughter.
