A 66-YEAR-OLD Kilwinning man has spoken out to say he also witnessed "strange orange lights" above the town, mentioned in a Times article last week.
But Frank Anderson, of Calderwood, said he saw the flickering object in the sky the night before our previous spotter.
Frank called the Times after reading about engineer and astronomer Kevin Clarke who saw a glowing orange light in the sky, which he took to be a plane on fire.
Frank said: "The thing that I saw matched the other man's description. I saw twinkling orange lights moving in strange directions through the sky, but there was no noise that you would expect if it was a plane." See this week's Times - out tomorrow - for the full story.
