FILMING for blockbuster drama to be aired on BBC One started at the Irvine harbourside this week, starring two of Briatin's brightest stars.
The programme, which took over streets and pubs in the town, is starring Northern Irish TV favourite James Nesbitt and Holywood star Minnie Driver.
Residents of Harbour Street, together with owners of local businessess, received letters telling them parts of the street would be taken up all day yesterday (Tuesday) by major TV production company Tiger Productions, who are responsible for countless ratings hits including comedy Benidorm and The Secret Diary of a Call Girl starring Billie Piper.
