Ayrshire College students were the first to benefit from a new programme in Scotland at the Kilwinning Campus.
The new digital skills workshops launched this week after being delivered by ‘Technology Coaching’.
They have partnered with Facebook to produce the innovative training sessions which are designed to support students.
The classes aim to improve their existing skills or learn new ones to help them succeed professionally or personally in the digital economy and future digital workforce.
Students from across the curriculum in Health and Social Care, Computing, Early Years, Sport, Business and Hair and Beauty enjoyed interactive workshops including creating their own app.
The workshops supported core skills, encouraging innovation, leadership, collaboration and team work.
Francis Milligan, Technology Coaching Trainer said: “I have had the pleasure of working with a mixture of students who have shown widespread interest in digital skills. I’m impressed at some of the ideas, engagement and insight that the students provided in the sessions.”
