Two people had to be removed from an Irvine property by police after breaching coronavirus rules.
Police officers were called to a property in Kirkgate, Irvine, just after midnight on March 18 and on arrival they issued fines to three indivdiuals for breaking the current COVID-19 regulations with two having to be removed.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "About 12.11am on 18/03/21 police officers attended a call within Kirkgate, Irvine, and three people were issued with a COVID-19 Fixed Penalty Notice, two were removed from the property."
Latest data from Police Scotland show that officers in North Ayrshire have handed out 170 fines for COVID-19 rule breaches since the start of the year with 17 arrests made for the same offence.
