A teenager was caught speeding at more than 100mph on a busy Ayrshire road on Saturday evening.
Police clocked the 19-year-old driver breaking the speed limit at the weekend [Saturday, April 3] on the A71 near Dreghorn.
Police Scotland confirmed he has since been reported to the Procurator Fiscal for alleged dangerous driving.
A spokesperson said: "A 19-year-old Glasgow man is being reported for an alleged Section 2 Road Traffic Act (dangerous driving) offence after being observed travelling in excess of 100mph on the A71 (w/bound) near to Dreghorn on Saturday evening by Road Policing Scotland officers."
