NHS Ayrshire & Arran is offering a drop-in vaccination clinic at Kilwinning Academy this Sunday, May 23.
You do not need an appointment and it is open to everyone in Ayrshire who fits one of the nine priority groups who have not yet taken up a vaccine.
That includes:
- Everyone over 50 years of age
- Anyone under 50 who is an unpaid carer
- Anyone under 50 who has an underlying health condition that could make them vulnerable to COVID 19
- Anyone under 50 who are members of a shielding household
- Health and social care workers
With new variants of COVID 19 now circulating in Scotland, NHS Ayrshire & Arran is urging everyone to take up the offer of a vaccine.
NHS Ayrshire & Arran Director of Public Health, Lynne McNiven said: "We want as many people as possible who are eligible for their vaccine to come forward and roll their sleeve up.
"If you have already been invited but did not attend your appointment, for whatever reason, it is not too late to be vaccinated.
"This is a drop-in clinic for anyone in cohorts one to nine, you simply turn up on the day and our vaccinators will be able to see you, there is no need for an appointment."
