Irvine residents have been thanked for cleaning up eight bags of rubbish in Vineburgh last week.
The Helping Hands group at the Vineburgh Community Centre launched it’s Clean-up Crew to tidy up the area – with three volunteers clearing up eight big bags of rubbish while also trying to gather up as much broken glass as they could from the grass to protect children and dogs.
Volunteer Darren Anderson said: “Big thanks to all involved today and especially Sandra Cuthbertson Hughes at Irvine Clean-up Crew for providing litter pickers and green bags”.
Huge thanks to the volunteers at Helping Hands from all at the Irvine Times.
