SECOND year pupils at Irvine Royal Academy enjoyed an afternoon hearing about the life and times of writer Graham Rae.
Graham was the latest guest to talk to Mr Kelso’s English class at the school who were keen to hear from real life writers.
He was one of the authors to feature at Wigtown Book Festival and spent time with the Irvine Royal Academy students talking about his life as a journalist and author as well as hearing about their own magazine The Raven, too.
Two weeks ago, comic book artist Neil Slorance shared his own experiences of writing comic books as well as a comic strip for a national newspaper with Mr Kelso’s class.
