Two pals were both buzzing after the pair from Kilwinning featured as extras in the latest of the Rise of the Footsoldier films.
Fans Colin Anthony and Kriss Andrews both appeared in the fifth Origins instalment in the series telling the story of the infamous Essex Boys, leading up the the notorious killings in 1995.
Colin said: “We had got in touch with a couple of the guys down south, the director Andy Loveday and Craig Fairbrass. We went down to Southend and got to be extras in the film. You can see us in the bar scenes – although no talking.
"The fifth one is called Origins and more about Tony Tucker and his story and set before the first - before they die.
“It was a massive goal of ours to be in one of the films and delighted we got the chance. It was an absolutely great experience. All the actors were great, down to earth and always had time for a chat.
“It was brilliant to hear all the stories and we got some cracking pictures and keep in touch with a lot of the guys.”
