Kind-hearted golfers presented a cheque to an Irvine cancer care service.
Iain McPail of Ravenspark Golf Club and Sam Abercrombie or Irvine Golf Club presented a cheque for £800 to Irvine and Troon Cancer Care.
This was raised at the the clubs’ Ravenspark v Bogside Snyder Cup match.
A spokesperson from Irvine and Troon Cancer Care said: “This money raised will be used to help provide cancer patients with free transport to hospital appointments in Ayrshire, Glasgow and Edinburgh.
“To help us provide this service we are looking for volunteer drivers with their own car prepared to give up a minimum of four hours per week.
“Expenses for fuel would be covered.
