Secondary school pupils were ready to get reading when the youngsters returned to class in the new year.
Wishing everyone a happy new year last week, a spokesperson for Irvine Royal Academy said: “Four boxes of new books waiting for Mrs McPhee today, many of which were requested by pupils.
“Chazney, Jay and Tracy happy to see Five Nights at Freddy’s books while Amber and Owen enjoyed a good rummage through some of the new books.”
Good luck in 2022!
