Irvine pupils were celebrating the life and work of Robert Burns last week as the youngsters kickstart 2022.
Kids at Castlepark Primary School were praised for their amazing recitals of Robert Burns’ To A Louse and the confidence shown by the children.
Sharing the pics last week, a spokesperson from Castlepark Primary School, said: “Mrs Caldwell was an extremely proud teacher today. So many of her pupils showed confidence as they battled their nerves to recite To A Louse by Robert Burns in front of the class.
“Thirteen did it within a group; nine did it all by themselves.”
