NORTH Ayrshire has plummeted to the bottom of the Scottish House Price table - with a meagre 1.7 per cent growth in a year.
Latest figures show the average house price in the area in March was just £150,140 - leaving North Ayrshire bottom of the list of all 32 Scottish Councils.
The average house price in Scotland is currently £218,992, with Edinburgh, as usual topping the list with an average price of £333, 662... more than double that of the Three Towns and Irvine.
North Ayrshire recorded house price growth of just 1.7 per cent in the year from March 2021 to March 2022.
Other regions saw their prices rocket - with 15.9 per cent for Fife and 15.3 per cent for Argyll and Bute.
East Ayrshire Council saw growth of 11.1 per cent, with an average price of £153, 715, putting them in 30th position in the table
Meanwhile South Ayrshire, in 15th position for Scotland, saw growth of 8.3 per cent.
In the 2021 survey, North Ayrshire stood in 28th position in Scotland. In just a year they have been leapfrogged by Inverclyde, West Dunbartonshire, the Western Isles and East Ayrshire.
