COMICON returned to Ayrshire at the weekend – with more than 2,000 fans heading to the big event.
After a two year Covid enforced absence, organisers BGCP Comic Con: Ayr were delighted to see so many movie and comic book lovers turn out in force.
And, of course, there were a variety of colourful costumes on show as fans dressed as their favourite superheroes or anime characters.
As well as stalls, there were plenty of events for everyone, including a cosplay competition, design competition, mark making and slime making masterclasses and a free gaming arcade open all day.
And judging by these pictures, everyone had a fantastic time.
A spokesperson for the event said: “Thank you to all 2000 plus of you who attended Ayr Comic Con.
“We look forward to returning next year with even more awesome stuff for you.
“Don’t forget we run weekly events all over Scotland so check out where we’ll be next on our website.”
