A shoplifter is still on the loose after striking at an Irvine supermarket to steal goods earlier this week.
Police confirmed they were investigating a theft after the incident at the East Road Aldi Store on Wednesday [July 6] with cops adding no arrests had yet been made.
Police Scotland said they were unable to issue a description of the culprit with enquires continuing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers attended a business premise on East Road, Irvine around 3.30pm on Wednesday, July 6, following a report of a theft.
“Enquires are ongoing.”
