The Kirkyard Burns tour
IRVINE history buff Billy Kerr led a ‘Robert Burns in Irvine’ tour of the town’s Old Parish Kirkyard last week.
Billy and the visitors are pictured standing at the grave of Irvine Burns Club co-founder John Fletcher.
Fletcher was a noted surgeon in Irvine – as well as being a graverobber and bodysnatcher.
