Two people were taken to hospital and a man arrested after a car crash in Castlepark.
A man aged 30 and woman aged 26 were taken to Crosshouse Hospital after the incident in Maree Place, Castlepark at around 2pm today [Sunday, October 2].
A man aged 29 was been arrested in connection with the incident.
Police Scotland confirmed today a report had been sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 2.05pm on Sunday, October 2, police were called to a report of a one-car crash on Maree Place, Castlepark, Irvine.
“A 30-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman were taken by ambulance to University Hospital Crosshouse, Irvine.
“The 29-year-old male driver will be the subject of a report to the Procurator Fiscal.”
