A YOUNG man has been charged after allegedly being caught with a haul of drugs including cannabis in an address in Irvine.
Irvine cops say the 20-year-old was arrested after officers returned to raid the Fullarton property – after suspicions were raised during an earlier police visit.
The young man was charged with a report to be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers carrying out routine enquiries at an address in the Fullarton area of Irvine noted several bags of herbal material within said property.
“A sheriff search warrant was obtained – and a quantity of controlled drugs, including herbal cannabis, were seized.
“A 20-year-old man has been arrested, cautioned and charged in connection with the find – and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
“Police Scotland will continue to target and disrupt drug supply in all our communities.
