A Kilwinning man allegedly sent a picture of him posing with a knife to his girlfriend in her home after preventing her entering the property before smashing the place up.
George McKnight, 30, appeared in court this week denying alleged abusive behaviour to his partner in Stobbs Crescent over October 12 and October 13 this year.
Mr McKnight, of Cambusdoon, Kilwinning, allegedly prevented her accessing her own address before sending abusive text messages.
Court papers claim he then sent her a picture of him holding a blade before damaging the property.
It's alleged he removed CCTV cameras from the wall as well as damaging doors and radiator.
The Procurator Fiscal depute's complaint states he committed the alleged offence while out on bail granted on July 20 this year at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court.
Mr McKnight pleaded not guilty to the charge this week [Monday, December 12].
He will face the charge again next year.
