Entries for Scotland’s “top” tech awards have opened for this year – and they’re looking for North Ayrshire applicants.
ScotlandIS’s Digital Technology Awards are open to individuals and businesses in the tech sector as they look to celebrate the tech “talent Scotland has to offer.”
Nominations close at 5pm on February 22 and those lucky enough to be selected will be invited to the award ceremony on April 27 at Glasgow’s Radisson Blu Hotel.
CEO of ScotlandIS, Karen Meechan, said: “The Digital Technology Awards deliver a fantastic opportunity for us to celebrate the very best in Scottish technology. It is an evening our members look forward to all year round to recognise the extensive achievements and talent in our industry.
“I’m looking forward to spending the evening honouring the sector's best minds, and I encourage everyone to nominate both individuals and businesses that deserve recognition for achievements and dedication to helping our industry continue to flourish.”
Categories in this year’s award ceremony include ‘Tech For Good’, ‘Data Trailblazer’, ‘Most Sustainable Workplace’, and ‘Public Sector Innovation’.
The ‘Unsung Hero’ award - which looks to “commemorate local community champions” - is also making a return to the ceremony.
Three ‘Digital Tech Business of the year’ prizes are up for grabs with awards for the best start-up, scale up, and enterprise.
The Digital Technology Awards are in their thirteenth year, having started in 2010.
