30 JOBS will be coming to Irvine in the spring - after a popular venue undergoes a complete revamp.
The redevelopment of Si!, on the town's Kilwinning Road, will see the hospitality group SimpsInns spend around a quarter of a million pounds on the venue.
It will once again join The Gailes In Irvine, The Waterside Hotel in West Kilbride, and Old Loans Inn near Troon in SimpsInns portfolio of Ayrshire venues.
Si! has become the second venue in Irvine which the business has ploughed money into in recent times, following the construction of a £2million luxury spa at The Gailes Hotel in Irvine on top of refurbishments to the hotel’s bar, restaurant and function suite.
This new lease of life at Si! will see around 30 jobs created upon the introduction of 'The Potting Shed'.
The family-owned business, run by the Irvine-based Simpson family, have just kick-started a recruitment campaign for the new venue in Irvine, billed as one of Ayrshire’s ‘trendiest’ new meeting places.
Applications are now being invited for a variety of positions, including vacancies for chefs at all levels, front of house team, duty managers and an operations manager.
The Times reported earlier this month how the restaurant intended to reopen in March, following its makeover and along spell of closure.

'The Potting Shed at Si!' will be considered the venue's 'casual dining' area. This will seat around 80 people and will include a dedicated dog-friendly area as well as relaxed and informal seating areas owners say ideal for meeting friends, family and colleagues for coffee or brunch throughout the day.
The regular Si! restaurant still planned to be in operation as it was before - serving the Italian food they were best known for.
This will be situated in the upstairs area of Si! - to be dubbed 'The Terrace' bar and restaurant.
Diners and those looking for a drink will be able to be seated both inside and outside on the newly refurbished heated outdoor balcony.
Son of owner Malcolm Simpson, Jack, has played a key role in delivering the new vision at Si! ahead of its reopening.
Jack commented: “We’ve shaken things up at Si! and are delighted to introduce one of Ayrshire’s trendiest new meeting places where flavours and ideas from our global travels have come together at The Potting Shed."
While his father Malcolm added: “Following a four-month, £250,000 makeover, we can’t wait to welcome guests to The Potting Shed and The Terrace from spring 2023.
"We’re committed to exceeding our guests’ expectations and continually invest in our hotel and leisure facilities to make them the very best they can be."
Anyone interested in applying for one of the new positions at The Potting Shed and The Terrace at Si! can apply now by emailing their CV and cover letter to recruitment@simpsinns.com or by visiting www.simpsinns.com/careers by Sunday February 26.
