A FIFTY pounds Asda voucher is up for grabs in a fun competition organised by Irvine's 'Clean Up Crew'.
Even more intriguing, is the story behind the competition though.
The famed group - who volunteer their time to keep Irvine looking wonderful - are looking for names for their 'mascot' of sorts.
He is a plush, stuffed donkey who was found - looking rather worse for wear after being discarded or lost in a tree - by one of the groups members.
They they took the donkey in and looked after and cared for the stuffed toy.
A group member explained said: "From hanging upside down in a bush, covered in muck, to being all clean and fresh and sporting a shiny new jumper.
"Donkey was very lucky to have been found and cared for by one of our volunteers."
Now the crew are looking to give this donkey a name - and that is where the competition comes in.
On their Facebook page, they are looking for locals to come up with a name for the donkey, like their post and tag their friends to join in, with the person who picks the winning name being rewarded with a £50 Asda voucher.
The competition will be open until Monday, February 6, so you better be quick and get your thinking caps on.
