WE KNOW him well from his time on our TV screens, but former Big Brother star Michael 'Mikey' Hughes has been up to plenty since.
The Kilwinning man was runner up on the infamous reality TV show, which is returning this year, back in 2008.

And since the show aired nearly a decade and a half ago - Mikey has certainly been busy.
He threw himself into further education, earning himself a PHD - and had a book published only last year.
And books are something he aims to continue with - though heading more in the direction of fiction.
In his quest to further his knowledge in the area, Mikey was back at university again at the end of last year - completing a 10-week degree level short course in 'The Scottish Gothic: Fantastic And Supernatural'.
He celebrated completing the course at Glasgow University on January 26 - after wowing his tutor, Dr Joanna Malecka, with his essay on Robert Louis Stevenson's Jekyll and Hyde.
Mikey also commended his tutor for helping so much with making the course accessible - given that he is completely blind.
The course also included an exploration into poetry - which involved looking at the works of famed Ayrshire bard Robert Burns.
Mikey was delighted to complete the course, and proudly paraded around the university grounds following this.
He even joked that this occasion was "more enjoyable" than his graduation.
He sported an outfit “inspired by gothic Scottish literature” as he walked around the historic university - proudly proclaiming to everyone that he was now a "Scot Lit".
And he shared his amazing pictures from the day, which were taken by his niece Carly King, with us. He also took the time to chat about what his future plans are, in light of his latest venture.
Mikey plans to write some fiction novels of his own, something that he has been working on for a few years now, and he hopes to draw inspiration from his amazing hometown.
He currently has four novels on the go all in different genres as he doesn't want to tie himself down, and he is only "writing for pleasure".
He commented: “It will have to be original. I won’t be doing anything anyone else has done.
“I know Kilwinning has so many unusual historical sites. I might just have to wait until I go down to Kilwinning and I will get inspiration.
“I already began writing one a couple of years ago about Irvine and I’m not sure whether to combine them.
“That course is a wee kick up the bum for me. I wish I had done something like this 20 years ago.
He continued: “I need to try to sit down and seriously do this because it’s been floating about for a few years now.
“I don’t believe in writers block – it’s ideas block. It’s all sitting there I just need to sit and apply myself. I need to focus on the writing.”
