POLICE believe a man who has been reported missing from East Kilbride may have travelled to Ayrshire.
William Stewart has not been seen since the early hours of this morning, Thursday Febraury 9.
He was spotted near Germiston Crescent in his home town at around 2.30am.
Police have appealed for information to help trace the 33-year-old this morning - saying he also frequents parts of Glasgow.
Cops in Ayrshire later added that they believe William may have travelled to the county.
William is described as six foot tall, of a medium build, with auburn hair and a beard.
He is thought to be wearing a khaki jacket and dark jeans.
Inspector Gareth Brown, of East Kilbride police station, said: “Officers have been carrying out extensive enquiries since he was reported missing, but so far, he has not been traced, and no one has confirmed any sightings of him.
“We are growing increasingly concerned for William, and we would appeal to anyone who knows where he is to contact us.
"I would ask William himself, if you are reading this please get in touch with your family, friends or police.”
Anyone with any information should call Police Scotland on 101, quoting 0227 of February 9, 2023.
