An Irvine beauty salon is celebrating 20 years in the town by expanding their business to offer a new service.
Sassy’s Salon on the High Street has been a staple of the town centre for the past two decades and to commemorate the occasion, the salon is offering laser hair removal – becoming the only shop in North Ayrshire to offer the service.
Owner Sara Bingham said: “Initially I was really nervous about introducing this service, given the current climate and impact it is having on small businesses, I was taking a huge chance but I already know it has paid off and the best decision I have made.
“We can now offer a more long term solution for our clients with unwanted hairs in virtually any part of their body!
“And this is an amazing opportunity for our team to further their careers and I am so proud of all of them. A win for both parties.”
After offering waxing for more than two decades, the shop saw the expansion to include laser hair removal as an obvious next step.
Last year Sara began studying laser hair removal in college, gaining her Level 4 Certificate in laser and IPL core of knowledge and hair reduction three months later.
The salon’s beauticians Lauren, Jodie, and Jordyn have also worked hard to achieve the qualification.
