TRAIN services between Ayr and Irvine have been temporarily halted, ScotRail has confirmed.
The rail service posted to their social media this morning, March 9, to let customers know of a signal fault at Barassie station which is affecting services between Irvine and Ayr.

Stuff rushed to rectify the fault however a further announcement confirmed that the ScotRail team will have to carry out further investigations.
A replacement bus service has been requested to run between Ayr and Irvine.
