TWO teenage girls reported missing from their Ayrshire homes have been traced safe and well, police have confirmed.
Ayrshire police earlier appealed for help from the public to trace the youngsters, who had been missing from their homes since Tuesday.
Alice Hill, 14, and 15-year-old Kelsey Lee Paterson had not been seen since March 7 and both were believed to have been travelling around the central belt of Scotland.
An update shared by police this evening (March 9) said that both girls have been traced safe and well.
Police thanked everyone who shared and helped with their earlier appeals.
