AN IRVINE kitchens firm has opened its newly revamped showroom after eight weeks of work on the premises.
The Times first visited the Howdens site in Irvine's South Newmoor industrial estate at the beginning of last month, when work was still taking place.
And when we returned on Friday, March 10, it's fair to say there had been plenty of progress.
Interior modifications include a massive showroom with nine new display pods.
New branded ranges such as Karndean flooring have been added to their stock and been put on display.
There is also a new look for their trade counter which is bursting with hundreds more essential joinery products.
And customers will now have the chance to view their perfect kitchen in a relaxed comfortable presentation room with state-of-the-art CAD (computer-aided design) packages and experienced staff.
Depot manager Brian Strain said: “We are delighted to open our newly refurbished branch after roughly eight weeks of works.
"We can’t wait to welcome everyone in to see the massive transformation this branch has had, and a seeing the finished product now in front of our eyes has amazed us all.
"This will give our account holders and their clients an even better buying experience with us and with the new showroom especially, it will help us deliver the perfect journey for your dream kitchen."
For those wishing to check out the changes for themselves, Howdens will be hosting an open day on Monday, March 13 when food and beverages will also be made available.
