IRVINE’s Claire McLaughlan has won The Scottish Centre for Personal Safety’s “Volunteer of the Year” award for volunteering over 200 hours for the charity plus helping to train almost 1,000 vulnerable people in empowering Personal Safety skills in the last year alone.
Claire has helped the charity to train children, female survivors of violence, people with learning disabilities, and ethnic minority groups since January 2022.
This award comes hot on the heels of Claire winning the national “Volunteer of the Year” award at The Third Sector Awards 2023 in London last month.
