Irvine makeup artistry students at Ayrshire College took home gold awards at a Scottish makeup and hairdressing competition.
19-year-old Kara McCann and 20-year-old Steffi Cairney won a total of three prizes at the Scottish finals of the Association of Hairdressers and Therapists (AHT) competition in West Lothian College.
Kara won first place in Editorial Style Make-up and third place in Feminine Bridal Make-up while Steffi won first place in Feminine Bridal Make-up.
Curriculum manager at the college, Peggy Morgan, said: “All of our make-up artistry students were great ambassadors for the college at the competition and displayed great enthusiasm and passion for their craft.”
Kara and Steffi will now go on to the national finals in Blackpool’s Winter Gardens this May.
