Scottish comedy gold is coming to Ayrshire this week as Still Game and Scotsquad stars are here for some hilarity.

There’s also plenty of shows for music fans with acts like Hunter and McMustard (of Colonel Mustard and The Dijon 5) and a world-famous George Michael tribute paying Ayrshire a visit.

Fastlove: Everything She Wants Tour at The Gaiety’s Main Theatre, Ayr - March 30

George Michael fans are in for a treat with this upcoming tribute coming to Ayr as part of its worldwide tour this weekend.

The show honours the late singer though performances of his hit songs such as ‘I’m your Man’, ‘Freedom 90’, ‘Careless Whisper’ and ‘Club Tropicana’ as well as fan favourites and deep cuts.

LOL Comedy Troon at Troon Concert Hall – April 1

MC’d by Ayrshire comedian Billy Kirkwood, this night will showcase some of the best comedic talent in Scotland.

Scotsquad actor Darren Connell is headliner for the evening while veteran of the Glasgow circuit Iain Hume and award winning Liam Farrelly will be supporting.

The Last Resort at Harley’s, Ayr – April 1

Hunter and McMustard Tour at Venue38, Ayr – April 2

This duo featuring John McMustard of Colonel Mustard and The Dijon 5 and Ayrshire singer-songwriter Colin Hunter brings together contemporary folk and roll, bluegrass, rockabilly, country, folk and comedy.

Their witty and eclectic music fights for social causes and has helped campaigns to save Maryhill Library, The Peoples Palace and The Winter Gardens in Glasgow.

Auld Before my Time: An Evening With Paul Riley at the Palace Theatre, Kilmarnock – April 2

Still Game’s Winston will be coming to Kilmarnock this week to tell tales of his life and career through this comedic show.

Fil & Tom at Irvine Folk Club in Vineburgh Community Centre – April 5

Combining a simple combo of vocals, guitar and percussion, this Irish duo creates unique and thought-provoking music.

The band have been making intimate yet powerful songs since the early 90’s and have 10 recorded albums between them.

The event is unticketed and starts at 8pm.
