Irvine artists are featured prominently at the not-to-be-missed Open Studios exhibition ‘A Sense of Place’ at MacLaurin Galleries, Rozelle, Ayr, which runs until April 27.
Visitors to the opening event on Saturday were wowed by the colour and vibrancy of the work, including paintings by Dreghorn artist Euan Tait and Irvine's Lisa Brown.
Founded in 2012 by the artists themselves, Open Studio Ayrshire artists and makers are from a wide range of disciplines, including print-making, painting, sculpture, glass, jewellery and more.
They take pleasure in opening their studios for public viewing across North, South and East Ayrshire and sharing their work with visitors annually, which will be on September 1-3 for 2023.
Open Studios Ayrshire offers local artists and makers a platform to showcase their artwork through exhibitions and to open to the public during the first weekend in September.
