A SEARCH has been organised as the hunt for missing Irvine man Evan Reid is about to enter its third week.
Evan was taking a train home to Irvine from a night out in Glasgow when he got off the train at Paisley Gilmour Street.
Shortly after was his last confirmed sighting with CCTV footage showing the 31-year-old on Inchinnan Road in Paisley at 10.06pm on Saturday, March 25.
Now a search has been organised for a nearby area, exactly two weeks on from when Evan was last sesn.
Organisers will be asking all of those who wish to help in this search to meet at the Gleniffer Braes - known as 'the car park in the sky' (address: Robertson Park, Gleniffer Braes, Glenfield Road, Paisley PA2 8TE) - at 11am on Saturday, April 8.
From here, it is planned that searchers will split into groups and conduct an organised search across a number of different areas.
Organisers will be distributing posters and flyers to hand out and put up, as well as high visibility vests so that people can easily identify each other in the search groups.
People who would like to join in the search are being encouraged to wear comfortable footwear and warm clothing as the search areas are open and exposed.
Walking poles are encouraged as they may be helpful when searching in heavy woodland growth so as not to disturb the area too much if vital information is found.

While Police Scotland are also still investigating Evan's disappearance.
Anyone with any information on Evan's whereabouts should contact 101, quoting incident 4112 of March 25.
