MEMBERS of Irvine Golf Club have given a local mental health facility a helping hand with a generous donation.
Club captain Stuart McInnes and past captain Charlie Gibson presented a cheque for £490 to staff in ward 3 at Woodlands View.
The money was raised by golfers who took part in the club's Winter League competition.
Opened in 2016, Woodlands View provides vital mental health care and suport to those in the community.
The £46 million facility, with 206 beds, delivers inpatient and outpatient mental health care for adults through rehabilitation, continuing care and intensive psychiatric care services.
