Nine fighting fit Irvine glass workers, and the spaniel Pickles, donned their kilts to complete the 15-mile fundraising Kiltwalk Big Stroll.
The charity walk took them from Clydebank to Balloch and helped boost the work of a Christian debt management charity.
The group from the packaging team were joined on April 30 by 10 colleagues who completed the Wee Wander, a three-mile walk for families.
Together, they raised more than £3,700 for Fullarton Church, which helps people with debt management at the Irvine Christians Against Poverty Debt Centre.
The funds will be used to help lift the weight of debt from people’s shoulders.
Alan McLaren, debt coach with Christians Against Poverty, said: “This week one of our befrienders and I are due to visit a young woman who has had financial difficulties and desperately needs help.
“We can only invest time to help these people because of your support. You are making a difference and we cannot thank you all enough.”
Lesley Robinson, account manager and community involvement ambassador at the Ardagh Glass Irvine facility, took part in the walk, and added: “I’m so proud of the team for giving up their Sunday to support our community.
“We had a great day in a fantastic atmosphere, and it makes it so worthwhile knowing the money we’ve raised is going to help local people that need support to turn their lives around.”
