Irvine-based civil and structural engineering company, Prime Structural Solutions, is looking for an apprentice.
Founder and managing director, Michael Carlin, is keen to appoint someone locally aged 16 and over to join the business and train to become a qualified engineer.
He said: “We know it’s difficult for youngsters to know what they want to do and get a foot on the career ladder, but we have a terrific team who can mentor the right person and we’ll fund their training to undertake an HNC course in civil engineering as day release, as well as receive on the job training.
“There are lots of opportunities available as an engineer and different routes to take, working on some really exciting projects, not just in Ayrshire.”
The company is also looking to recruit qualified engineers with four years of experience to join the team.
Based in Ballot Road in Irvine, Prime Structural Solutions, which employs 12 staff, has worked on leading Ayrshire projects including a new campus at Kilwinning College and an extension to Park Hotel for Kilmarnock FC, as well as numerous domestic dwellings and extensions to residential properties.
Interested candidates should send their cv to laura@primestructuralsolutions.co.uk.
