Irvine Clean Up Crew's lovely postbox topper has been stolen from outside the town's railway station.
The topper, sporting an environmental message, was taken sometime between 8pm and 8.50pm on Sunday evening.
The message on the topper read: "The only cure for litter is you."
The theft came just a couple of days after a picture of the postbox topper was put up on the environmental group's Facebook page, with the message: "Have you spotted this #postboxtopper outside Irvine train station?
"We think its message is a pretty good one."
The group posted on Sunday: "Unfortunately someone has stolen the postbox topper within the last few hours.
"If you see it lying about anywhere can you send us a message to let us know. We'd like to see it returned to its maker."
The Crew's Jennifer Pless told the Times: " It was on the postbox at Irvine train station.
"It was cable tied on so someone has gone with the intent of removing it. A lot of work went into it so we'd really like to try and recover it."
