LOCALS will still have plenty of questions to ask regarding the re-opening of what was formerly the R&A Sports Bar in Irvine.
The popular pub closed earlier this month to allow for a £500,000 makeover - after the premises was taken over by pub chain Amber Taverns.
Expected to re-open on Friday, June 30, the bar is to be renamed 'The Northern Way'.
The Times popped in today, Tuesday, June 27, with refurbishment works well underway ahead of the bar's relaunch.
And though work is still to be completed inside - we were given an exlcusive look at the new drinks menu that will be on offer when the venue opens its doors once again.
Catering for all, The Northern Way is to offer a wide array of draft options - as well as a number of bottled beers and ciders.
A range of gluten free and no/low alcohol options are also to be made available.
While for gin drinkers, it is safe to say that there is a wide range set to be on offer.
For those who prefer a rum - which this reporter admittedly does - there is no shortage of choice.
While if vodka is more to your taste, The Northern Way will be stocking all the most popular brands.
And a number of shots will also be available - something we are sure will be a hit on a busy weekend.
Completing the classic array of spirits - there will be plenty of whisky (and whiskey) on offer as well.
If you are looking for something a bit different, a number of liqueuers will also be available.
While in another exciting edition to the drink selection, The Northern Way will be offering a number of 'Jam Jar' cocktails, which we are certain will be a big hit.
And we are sure that many of you may be finding it a challenge to pick just one drink out for such a vast selection.
If you are a gin drinker, The Northern Way's gin flights will give you an opportunity to try a few - to see which one is most suited to your taste.
There will still, of course, be more on offer, with a wide range of wines, prosecco and cava also set to be available.
It seems like it's time to start getting excited about the newest pub opening in Irvine.
