Irvine Community Council wants to find out what form the town's big Christmas celebration should take this year - but there are only a few days left for the town's residents to have their say.
They have launched a public consultation to find out if people want a big Christmas Lights switch-on for 2023 or a family centered event, like the one held last year.
The consultation link can be found at https://forms.office.com/r/NsNXBSsN1p and also on the Irvine Community Council page on Facebook.
Last year's event was in jeopardy until North Ayrshire Council and the organisers of the Marymass festival stepped in to fill the gap alongside community groups to organise a 'Community Yuletide' event in the Bridgegate.
The consultation on the form of the 2023 event will close this Sunday, July 16, at midnight.
If you are unable to access the consultation please email your response to Irvinecommunitycouncil@gmail.com.
In the interest of transparency and accountability, the community council will publish consultation results after the consultation closes.
