A Medieval flavour came to Eglinton Park in July 2003 with a demonstration of the elegant art of side-saddle horse riding.
Scottish Side Saddles, which restores and makes the traditional riding equipment, dressed a number of women riders in full period costume to bring the olden days back to Kilwinning.

THE talented musicians of Greenwood Academy Brass Band had just returned from a tour of sunny Mallorca. Pupils were able to enjoy some of the sights and lap up the sunshine as well as giving a number of performances.

THE skies were filled with balloons when pupils and staff at Broomlands Primary celebrated their 25th anniversary.
