A FRESH new business has confirmed they will be opening in Irvine's Rivergate Shopping Centre this week.
One Beyond, which describes itself as "the UK's freshest new discount store", will open its doors in the Irvine mall on Friday, July 21.
In a boost to the local economy, One Beyond has invested a six-figure sum in the opening of the store, creating 30 local retail jobs for the town.
The store is known for its affordable prices on a huge range of items including beauty and personal care, cleaning, toys and tech accessories, home and pet supplies.
The concept for One Beyond is that they offer more than 4,000 quality products for £1, along with some "incredible finds" priced at even less.
Created by the original founders of Poundworld Retail Ltd, who sold the brand to American private equity conglomerate TPG Capital in 2014, the value retailer say they are delighted to be opening in the town.
Founded in 2019 by Chris Edwards, One Beyond has previously opened stores across the UK to queues of shoppers looking to bag a haul of bargains, thanks to its unique savings and product offering.
For summer, One Beyond will be on hand to help shoppers make the most of the warmer weather, with seasonal home ware and toys plus a huge range of gardening goodies – that would all be much more expensive elsewhere.
A vast range of favourite household brands such as Coca Cola, Pedigree, Heinz, Kellogg’s and Cadbury’s are also available at incredible bargain prices to shop in store.
Mr Edwards said: “We’re looking forward to introducing Irvine shoppers to One Beyond for the first time.
"We offer our customers a great choice of handpicked bargains and we hope that the store will be a popular addition to the Rivergate Shopping Centre."
