AN IRVINE man who broke his bail conditions to go on a stealing spree has been put behind bars.
David Lammie, 26, pleaded guilty to three separate offences when he appeared at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court.
He admitted to stealing from three stores in Irvine and Dreghorn throughout the month of February of this year.
Lammie, of the town's Frew Terrace, pleaded guilty to first stealing a quantity of food items for the Co-op store on Caldon Road in Irvine on February 4.
Later that month, on February 17, he targeted another Co-op store, this time on Townfoot in Dreghorn, where he stole a quantity of alcohol.
The final charge to which Lammie pleaded guilty was one of stealing a quantity of clothing items from Sports Direct in the Riverway retail park, which he targeted on February 28.
When he appeared at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court this week, he was handed a six month prison sentence.
He was given a sentence of two months for each of the incidents, as the crimes were committed while he was out on bail.
