Fancy taking your wee ones on a trip to space this summer?

Then you're in luck because children's theatre favourites The McDougalls are returning to Irvine next week with a spectacular new show set amongst the stars and planets.

Join stars of stage and screen, Auntie Aggie and Max, as they fly past the planets on an intergalactic musical expedition.

From a sunny stop on Mercury, to a meeting with a Martian, there’s so much to do and see on this trip of a lifetime in the homemade rocket ship.

It will be a stellar day out for kids up to age nine and their families.

Max McDougall, one of the show’s stars, said: “We can’t wait to come back to Irvine! We love performing at the Harbour Arts Centre.

"We last came here with our Magic Castle show and we had so much fun. Now everyone can join in and have a great time on our Space Adventure. (If you’ve never been to see The McDougalls before, the whole family will love it.)”

Packed with singalong songs such as Zoom Zoom Zoom We’re Going to the Moon, Aiken Drum and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star – get ready to fasten your seatbelts and join in with this astronomical adventure.

Children (and even grown ups) are encouraged to come dressed as an alien or astronaut for the most exciting five-star family show in the universe.

Find out more about this musical extravaganza, plus the latest news and offers, by following The McDougalls on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, and by singing along at home to their latest YouTube videos.

The hour long show will be held at the Harbour Arts Centre on Wednesday, August 2.
