EARLIER this month, golf stars from online video sharing platform YouTube hinted they were filming something major when they were spotted in Ayrshire.
A major collaboration between two of the largest golf YouTube channels from both the USA and the UK looked set to take place as Good Good Golf and Rick Shiels were spotted at Dundonald Links and Royal Troon.
With a combined subscriber count of around four million people, it was always going to bring a lot of eyes to the area when the videos appeared online.
And it was all eyes on Irvine as the American group Good Good posted the first installment of their trip "across the pond".
Garret Clark, Matt Scharff, Stephen Castaneda, Luke Kwon and Tom 'Bubbie' Broders were joined by new recruit to the group Brad Dalke and the UK's Rick Shiels.
The group of seven competed in an unconvential "lightning knockout" challenge - seeing a seven-ball head off the first tee at Dundonald for what we can only imagine was the first time.
The video itself can be watched in full online here - possibly the only way to fully comprehend exactly what went on.
You would be joining over one million people who have already viewed the video since it was uploaded on YouTube only days ago.
It shows Irvine in all its glory - including a short snippet of Bubbie taking a dip down at Irvine beach park.
