A MAN has appeared in court charged with exposing himself to two members of the public in Dreghorn.
Dominik Lukasz Rataj, 23, denies charges of exposing himself in the village's Main Street and of later behaving in a threatening manner.
Court papers claim he exposed his genitals in a sexual manner to two males named in the charge on July 25, with the intention they would see them.
The Crown’s complaint alleges that Mr Rataj was already the subject of a sexual offender order, imposed at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on July 22, 2021, when the alleged offence took place.
Mr Ratajfaces a second charge of threatening or abusive behaviour on the same date, when it’s alleged that he shouted, swore and acted aggressively during a journey to Saltcoats police station, and that he challenged others to fight and made derogatory remarks.
The accused, of Corsehill Terrace, Springside, pleaded not guilty to the charges during a hearing at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court.
He will return to face the allegations later in the year.
