Everyone loves a parade - especially a Marymass parade.
Saturday's huge procession through Irvine was a grand spectacle indeed, from the horses and riders, the remarkable floats, everyone in fancy dress, the bands, the dancers and not forgetting the dignitaries.
But the stars of the grand parade were undoubtedly Marymass Queen Rebecca Orr and her Marys - Summer Henderson, Hollie Surgenor, Emily Muir and Freya Fitzsimmons.
As these incredible shots reveal, wellwishers crowded the streets of the town to see the procession head through the town for the official crowning - then make its way to the moor for all the fun and games.
One of the biggest horse-drawn processions in Scotland, it left from Broomlands Drive at 10am, giving the town a true carnival atmosphere.
The crowning took place outside the Townhouse at noon before the journey to the Moor.
Crowds thronged the streets to watch the big event and cheer on those taking part.
And en route there were plenty of garden parties taking place to allow people to get the best view of the parade.
As always food vendors and stalls lined the route all the way to the Moor.
It really was a carnival atmosphere, with cheers resounding as the procession continued.
And there was plenty of more fun to be had on the Moor itself, with some exciting horse racing, games and fairground rides plus even more stalls and food vendors offering their wares.
While theses pictures from our photgrapher Charlie Gilmour focus on the parade itself, you can expect to see a lot more fantastic shots on our website over the next few days.
Check in with us later today for some photographs of some of the fun and games on the Moor.
And Monday is set to feature a big selection of crowd shots from Marymass Saturday - who knows, you might just see some people you know.
