The ladies from Irvine Bogside golf club raised a mammoth £600 sum for the Children’s Hospice Association Scotland.

Irvine Winton Bowling Club pulled out all the stops for their annual charity day – and the putting competition was a hit for young and old alike.

Fencedyke Primary pupils picked up awards for their achievements in the Marymass Flower Show.

Parent Teacher Association members at Kilwinning’s St Luke’s Primary donated £350 to the school to buy new supplies for the library.
PTA members Sandra Gibson and Catherine Bianchi presented the cheque to pupils Caitlin Yip and Hayley Burton.

Kilwinning’s Pennyburn Primary paid a fond farewell to janitor Thomas Arnott, who had retired during the summer.
The much loved jannie was invited back into the school for a farewell bash, where he was entertained by the pupils before receiving gifts.
He received hand made cards from each class in the school, signed by every single pupil.

Royal Marine chef Sergeant Mike Beaton took time out to come to the Irvine campus of Kilmarnock College to show the students his culinary skills.
