Fans of the legendary Eric Clapton are in for a real treat at Irvine's Harbour Arts Centre later this month.
Classic Clapton - the world's leading tribute act to the guitar hero - are returning to the venue on Friday, September 29 for an unplugged gig, showcasing the best of the former Cream star's work.
Classic Clapton's guitarist and vocalist Mike Hall told the Times: "This will be my eighth visit to Harbour Arts Centre.
"The full Classic Clapton band has previously performed four sold out shows there since 2009. Adam and I also played sold out unplugged concerts there between 2016 and 2022.
One Irvine reviewer said after their last gig: "Brilliant acoustic concert last night at the Harbour Arts centre in Irvine. Mike Hall not only looks like Eric Clapton but he can play guitar like him. His side kick on the gig was Adam Howells who was superb.
"All the old favourites from across Eric's albums. After Midnight is the acoustic duo from the full Classic Clapton tribute group and for my money, they sound more like Clapton.
"Mike's voice is amazingly similar to Clapton's and seems to be getting better with age. Adam's backing vocals were perfect and he also fronted a couple of numbers himself. Great show and I will definitely book up for the next one. "
